Garrett always showed a high degree of skill, integrity and camaraderie in the workplace. His passion for matte painting and how much could be achieved with it was inspirational. He is a born teacher, conveying complex technical ideas in a simple way that really helped others in the team learn quickly. His good aesthetic and technical judgment combined with a professional outlook ensured a logical, practical and innovative approach to his work.

Garrett was a key member of the matte painting department, and was frequently tasked with heading up a group of shots, establishing the "look" by both technical and artistic means. Garrett was very dependable in this role, as he proved repeatedly.
